PETER OAKMAN

Peter Oakman is the founder member of The Bruvvers who had a string of hits in the sixties including "A Picture Of You" written by Peter which went to No 1 in the UK charts in 1962. Peter is also a founder member of Tramline which covers classic blues, soul and rock.
Peter is now a integral member of The Swinging Blue Jeans the Liverpudlian group that had many hits in the sixties including "Hippy Hippy Shake". ( Jim Rodford from The Kinks and now The Zombies covers for Peter when Peter has other commitments ).
Peter cotinues performing his solo concerts and often gets a call from Chip Hawkes (Ex The Tremeloes) to join him with the all star celebrity band The Class of '64.
He will be touring with the Swinging Blue Jeans throuhgout the UK from the endof February to May in the Solid Silver 60s - see http://www.flyingmusic.com/The-Solid-Silver-60s-Spring-2010/tour-dates/
